Paramedic Apprentice - PRN, Flexible Scheduling

Job Description Additional Job Information PRN Overview Job Summary The Paramedic Apprentice works under the direct supervision of a Paramedic and is responsible for assisting with emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment. Works under on-line and off-line medical control providing basic life support. The Paramedic Apprentice may also perform duties in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) role, not necessarily under the direct supervision of a Paramedic.

Job Responsibilities

Supports and assists with the delivery of patient care, under the direction of the Paramedic. Assists with the maintenance and cleaning of patient care equipment. Performs routine equipment function tests and calibrations. Assists with the inventory of supplies and equipment ensuring adequate supply levels. Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
