About the Team

Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Avionics Quality Engineer (m/f/d). Do you want to revolutionize space travel in New Space? Then you've come to the right place.

Your Tasks

Build and scale a robust avionics Quality Management System (QMS) that enables reliable, repeatable production of flight hardware and supports certification readiness

Drive supplier quality performance by qualifying, auditing, and developing partners, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality electronic assemblies and components

Lead First Article Inspections (FAI/FAIR) and part approval processes, establishing strong validation standards across the supply chain

Own production quality across the full lifecycle, from incoming inspection to final integration, ensuring defects are detected early and prevented sustainably

Analyze and resolve non-conformances by applying structured root-cause methods (e.g. 8D, 5-Why, FMEA), reducing recurrence and improving overall system reliability

Your Qualifications

Must-Have

Ability to build, implement, and improve quality systems in a production or manufacturing environment

Experience ensuring quality in high-reliability or regulated industries (e.g. aerospace, defence, automotive, medical)

Proven capability to manage and develop suppliers, including audits, qualification, and performance improvement

Strong skills in root-cause analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to translate findings into sustainable corrective actions

Fluency in English for effective collaboration in an international engineering environment

Nice-to-Have

Hands-on experience with electronics manufacturing or cable harness production

Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100, IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS9102, or ECSS

Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT) principles
