Job description
The Sr. Special Investigator is responsible for directing the detection, investigation, and resolution of complex suspected fraudulent activity occurring at any point in the policy lifecycle, including pre-issuance activity such as distributor monitoring, underwriting, and new business. The Sr. Special Investigator conducts and oversees interviews, compiles evidentiary packages, drafts fraud referral summaries for senior leadership and regulators, and may mentor or provide case guidance to other investigators.
This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives case development methodology for the SIU, and serves as a key liaison with internal departments, external investigators, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies as needed. Beyond casework, the Sr. Special Investigator plays a central ro
