Parks Maintenance Worker I - G114 - Recreation Services - Part Time

This position is responsible for the maintenance of park grounds and facilities. Places fences at special events; sets up stages, podiums, flags, and stairs. Mows grass, operates a weed eater, edges grass, and blows leaves. Assembles bleachers, benches, and permanent trash cans. Installs, maintains, and repairs barbecue grills.

Prepares sports fields for games and tournaments; marks fields; adjusts end zone goal posts to proper width for college or high school games. Applies fertilizer to sod grass.
