Life Enrichment Assistant - Tempus (Memory Care)**

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and energetic Life Enrichment Assistant to support our Tempus (Memory Care) program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating meaningful moments, and helping older adults living with dementia experience purpose, joy, and connection each day. The Life Enrichment Assistant works alongside the Tempus Director to facilitate engaging activities, life skills programs, resident outings, family events, and individualized engagement opportunities designed to enhance quality of life for residents living with cognitive impairment.

What You’ll Do**

Assist with daily memory care programming, including sensory engagement, reminiscence activities, and life skills programs

Encourage resident participation using individualized, person-centered approaches

Support residents during activities, meals, transitions, and daily routines

Utilize supportive dementia care techniques such as validation and redirection

Observe resident engagement and communicate changes or concerns to the care team

Assist with family events, special programs, and intergenerational activities

Maintain activity supplies, engagement stations, and programming materials

Partner with the Tempus Director to create meaningful and engaging resident experiences

What We’re Looking For**

Experience working with individuals living with dementia or cognitive impairment preferred

Knowledge of person-centered dementia care practices

Experience facilitating activities, recreation, education, or engagement programs preferred

Compassionate, patient, and relationship-focused approach to care

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and supportive

Creative mindset with a passion for improving the lives of older adults
