Residential Life and Housing at Saint John’s University invites applications for a part-time position of Faculty Resident. Faculty Residents (FRs) are monks or laymen grounded in Benedictine values who are commissioned to provide pastoral outreach to resident students through the ministry of teaching, mentorship, and life-skills coaching.
FRs seek to model for students and strengthen within them honest self-understanding, a capacity for listening to the voice of God, and the habit of reflecting on the meaning of one’s existence in the context of community and service to the common good.
