How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Tech. Ops Supply Chain Management team is seeking an experienced professional to join as a Sr. Sourcing Manager, responsible for the strategic sourcing and supplier performance management of key Delta Tech Ops suppliers. The Supply Chain Sr. Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the development of commodity sourcing strategies, sourcing initiatives, risk management, and Delta-partner initiatives.
This role also is integral for delivering year-over-year savings utilizing strategic sourcing processes and a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach to recommendations. This position will be integral to managing supplier performance, including regular scorecard reviews, development, execution, and monitoring of performance improvement plans and supporting operationally critical supplier requirements.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensiveof all tasks): + Responsible for building and sustainingrelationships cross-divisionally with business leaders, aligning on the short-and long-term business unit strategy, collaboratively prioritizing strategicsourcing initiatives to meet operational and commercial objectives critical toaircraft maintenance + Able to draft agreements for new supplierrelationships and to document existing relationships + Develops, deploys, and supports sourcingstrategies, focused primarily on contract labor.
Leads the execution ofsourcing strategies, including RFPs, supplier selection, negotiation ofcommercial terms for major contracts, etc. + Reviews and considers supplier risk profilesand manages relationships with strategic suppliers. Manages supplierperformance and innovation value initiatives. Creates change implementationplans as needed + Leads supplier business reviews with thebusiness unit, as needed; supports Executive engagements with key strategicsuppliers and periodic initiative updates that require Executive level approvaland/or strategic alignment + Manages the contract implementation processwith business partners to ensure contract compliance and value capture.
Supportswarranty claims and contract support What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or. Engineering + Minimum of 1 to 3 years Supply Chain Management or related maintenance/operationalfield experience + Demonstrated project management skills and ability to effectively workwith multiple, diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels + High quality presentation and communication skills, value-based decisionanalysis, financial modeling, and consensus building + Ability to manage interactions with others; building value-basedrelationships; exerting personal influence + Demanding work hours - flexibility required.
Some travel required. + Must be performing satisfactorily in current position + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, andpersonal data + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United.
