Black & Grey HR is hiring for a leading textile manufacturing and export company with a strong reputation in premium handmade carpets and global markets. Our client is looking for a Senior Manager – Carpet Finishing & Post-Production to oversee all post-weaving operations, ensure superior finishing quality, and drive timely dispatch of hand-knotted carpets while enhancing process efficiency and team capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end post-production activities including washing, clipping, stretching, finishing, quality inspection, and dispatch of hand-knotted carpets.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, dimensions, pile finish, and appearance through effective process controls and quality standards.
  • Analyze inspection findings and rework trends, implementing corrective actions to improve first-pass quality and reduce defects.
  • Plan and manage finishing schedules to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with production and customer commitments.
  • Introduce and evaluate improved washing and finishing techniques to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Develop SOPs and conduct training programs to strengthen technical knowledge and finishing standards across teams.
  • Monitor material and chemical consumption, ensuring cost-effective operations and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless workflow and dispatch readiness.
  • Track operational performance metrics and maintain accurate records for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in textile finishing operations, preferably within hand-knotted or handmade carpet manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of carpet washing, finishing techniques, quality grading, and inspection standards.
  • Proven experience in reducing rework, improving finishing quality, and managing production teams.
  • Knowledge of wool and blended fiber finishing processes is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
