• Automotive Location: Indio, CA (Onsite) Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually Relocation: No relocation assistance. Local candidates only.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy tire and automotive service location. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong customer service, sales, and team management skills who can drive store performance while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability. Lead, coach, and develop store employees to achieve individual and team goals. Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving concerns and building long-term customer relationships. Drive sales by promoting tires, automotive services, and related products.

Monitor key performance metrics, sales goals, and operational expenses. Oversee inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and merchandising of products. Coordinate workflow between sales staff and service technicians to maximize productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Handle scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance management of employees. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.

Requirements

3+ years of retail or automotive management experience, preferably in a tire or automotive service environment. Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving sales performance. Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and daily store operations.

Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to analyze business performance and implement improvements. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
