One of Malta’s leading advisory firms is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of international clients across various industries, as well as private clients. If you’re looking for a new challenge, this is the right opportunity for you. This is a full-time, office-based role offering a salary of up to €50K , depending on experience.
Role & Responsibilities Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, handling their financial and management accounting Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, and ensure all information is accurate and up to date Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations Prepare computations and returns for corporate income tax Train and assist junior accounting team members Education, Skills & Experience Fully qualified accountant in Malta – non-negotiable 2+ years of experience in a similar role in client accounting Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English – non-negotiable Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines Client-first approach Strong attention to detail About the Role Salary up to €50K , depending on experience Office-based in Valletta, Malta Start date: ASAP On-the-job training provided Opportunities for career growth and development Please note: Applications from non-Maltese speakers cannot be considered for this role.
