We are supporting a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company with a strong manufacturing footprint in Japan. The company operates under strict GMP/GDP/GxP standards and plays a critical role in ensuring the stable supply of medicines to patients worldwide. Positions Available: Multiple openings across Supply Chain Planning and Logistics within pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Supply Chain Planning As a Supply Chain Planning professional, you will be responsible for demand, supply, and production planning for raw materials and intermediate products, ensuring stable product supply through close coordination with domestic and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop inventory plans and master production plans based on the S&OP process Plan material requirements and procurement timing for APIs and intermediates Coordinate with manufacturing sites, global supply chain teams, and overseas plants Identify supply risks related to production, imports, and product availability, and lead mitigation actions Operate and maintain planning systems (e.
g. SAP, APO) Act as product owner within manufacturing, leading cross-functional problem-solving related to supply stability Logistics Management As a Logistics professional (Associate to Manager level), you will be responsible for end-to-end logistics design and operations, covering inbound, outbound, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize logistics networks, transportation routes, vendors, and equipment in collaboration with global and local stakeholders Manage warehouse and logistics operations in compliance with GMP / GDP requirements Oversee external logistics partners, including KPI management and joint performance reviews Monitor warehouse capacity and develop mid- to long-term logistics and storage plans Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and security standards, as well as regulatory requirements Support inventory management activities including stock reconciliation, disposal, and non-conforming product handling Act as a key liaison with global logistics teams to align local and global initiatives Requirements Required Experience & Skills Experience in supply chain planning or logistics within manufacturing environments (pharmaceutical, chemical, or regulated industries preferred) Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across multiple functions Knowledge of logistics operations, production planning, or inventory management Experience working in SAP-based environments Business-level Japanese and English (reading, writing, and communication) Preferred Experience Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or indirect manufacturing functions Knowledge of GxP / GDP / CSV environments Experience working with overseas manufacturing sites or global supply chains Exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS / EWM) or material planning concepts (MRP, CPIM) Benefits Work in a globally integrated pharmaceutical supply chain High exposure to global stakeholders and decision-making Opportunity to build deep expertise in regulated supply chain and logistics operations
