Job Description Lead the design, development, and integration of high-end automotive interior switches (e.g., capacitive touch, haptic feedback, multi-function switches) for premium vehicle programs. Define system and component requirements for interior switch modules, including tactile feel, lighting, and haptic response.

Collaborate with UX,HMI and styling teams to align switch design with brand experience and premium vehicle aesthetics. Manage supplier development activities, including hardware/software release planning, quality reviews, and cost negotiations. Define and oversee validation plans for interior switches, ensuring compliance with OEM standards and global regulations (FMVSS, ECE, ISO).

Work closely with system, body electronics and infotainment teams to define communication interfaces such as CAN and LIN. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software integration issues during development, testing, and production phases. Support HIL/SIL testing, in-vehicle validation, and functional testing of interior switch systems.

Support plant production teams for build issues, deviation handling, and continuous improvement.

  • Bachler/master's degree preferably in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics /automotive engineering Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of interior switch technologies, including: Capacitive touch panels Haptic feedback systems Illuminated and backlit switches Mechanical design principles Understanding of vehicle networks (CAN and LIN) Knowledge of ECU software development lifecycle and embedded electronics. Familiarity with global automotive standards, including FMVSS, ECE regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead root cause investigations. Exposure to luxury car UX and HMI design principles is a strong advantage. 5+ years of experience in switch design and development
