Job description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating System Management:
- Manage and administer operating systems across the organization, including Windows, Linux, or other designated platforms.
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems.
- System Optimization and Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor system performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize operating system performance.
- Implement tuning and optimization measures to enhance system efficiency.
- Security and Patch Management:
- Implement robust security measures for operating systems, including access controls, security patches, and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, system crashes, performance degradation, and software compatibility problems.
- Provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Documentation and Best Practices:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of operating system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and update documentation for system administrators and end-users.
- Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that QNB ALAHLI business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as, International Standards.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible
