Our client is a leading company in IT managed services and digital transformation, hiring through Reference Agency. We're looking for a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance function at a strategic level, setting the policies, plans, and standards that keep assets, equipment, and facilities operationally ready, efficient, cost-controlled, and fully compliant with quality, health, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Build and own the overall maintenance strategy in line with company objectives Set preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance policies and procedures Oversee annual and operational plans across all sites/units and track execution Drive the highest levels of asset readiness and reliability Approve operational and capital maintenance budgets and monitor spending efficiency Lead and develop maintenance managers; review performance and deviations Ensure compliance with quality, occupational health & safety, and environmental standards Oversee asset replacement, renewal, and technical development plans Manage supplier and contractor relationships; approve contracts and technical SLAs Report to senior management on performance, risk, and improvement opportunities Requirements Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) Advanced qualification in Management or Operations preferred Senior leadership experience in maintenance management, ideally in large or multi-site operations Proven experience building strategies, budgets, and performance management systems Skills Strategic leadership and team building Planning, analysis, and decision-making Budget, cost, and contract management Strong grasp of maintenance systems, asset management, and occupational safety Negotiation, communication, and executive presentation Change management and continuous improvement
