Job description
The Alaska Court System is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the mission of the court as a Magistrate Judge (salary range 22). The incumbent will serve as a full-time circuit magistrate based in Aniak and will travel to rural courts on a regular basis to conduct court business and perform clerical functions. Weekend and holiday work will be required.
Regular job duties will include the following: Performs judicial duties as a magistrate judge for the district and superior courts in accordance with Alaska law, presiding over a wide variety of criminal, civil, family, juvenile, and probate-related proceedings.
