Role: QA Automation Engineer – Selenium, API Testing & Playwright

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, web application testing, and API test automation.
The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests for web applications and APIs. The role requires at least five years of practical experience with Selenium and API automation, combined with solid knowledge of web application testing.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for web applications. • Build and maintain test automation solutions using Selenium. • Develop and execute automated tests for APIs. • Validate application functionality, system integrations, and expected behavior. • Identify, document, and report software defects. • Analyze test results and support the investigation of application failures. • Maintain reusable and reliable automated test scripts. • Execute regression tests for web applications and APIs. • Collaborate with developers, quality assurance professionals, and other technical stakeholders. • Contribute to improvements in test coverage, automation reliability, and software quality. • Support the evaluation and adoption of additional automation technologies, including Playwright. • Apply AI/ML-related tools or solutions to testing activities when applicable.
Required Technical Skills
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium. • Between 5 and 10 years of experience testing web applications. • Minimum of 5 years of experience with API test automation. • Strong knowledge of automated web application testing. • Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts. • Experience validating web application functionality and integrations. • Ability to analyze automated test results and troubleshoot failures.
Desirable Skills
• Hands-on experience with Playwright. • Practical exposure to artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies. • Experience using AI/ML-related tools or solutions in software testing or quality assurance activities.

Resume Requirements
The resume must clearly demonstrate at least five years of hands-on experience with Selenium and API test automation, as well as substantial experience testing web applications.
Candidates should describe the applications, APIs, and automated testing solutions they worked with, including their specific responsibilities, the types of tests developed, and the automation technologies used.
Experience with Playwright and AI/ML-related tools or solutions should also be identified when applicable. Each technology and responsibility must be associated with specific projects, companies, and periods of experience.
