Assists radiologist and cardiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic special procedures and maintains and operates equipment required to achieve the best possible radiographic diagnostic images.
IR, Interventional Rad, Cath Lab Job Description : EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Associate's: equivalent plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy within 1 Year of hire ACLS (preferred) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Two years in the cardiac cath lab and/or Interventional Radiology.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Knowledge: Familiar with equipment and supplies used in the cardiovascular and special procedures areas Familiar with supplies and equipment used during standard and specialized procedures. Demonstrates a very high level of radiographic accuracy and patient care while accomplishing the desired outcome of the procedure in a timely and efficient manner.
Proficient with digital imaging and magnification techniques and fluoroscopy. Pay Range
is $62.18 to $80.57 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
