Job description
This is seasonal recreation work in supervising swimmers at a municipal swimming pool. An employee in this class is responsible for protecting users of a public pool from injury and for enforcing regulations in connection with the prevention of accidents. The summer season for employees in this class begins April 1 and ends December 1 each year.
The winter season begins November 1 and ends May 1 each year. Works under the direction of a Pool Manager exercising independent judgment in carrying out duties.
