Job description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement annual marketing plans for the North Asia market, in alignment with overall corporate marketing goals. Plan and administer the marketing budget, including developing budgets for international marketing activities. Organize and execute client relations efforts, including client satisfaction surveys, client development activities, and special events.
Oversee the process of soliciting prospective clients and writing proposals for new business. Participate in planning and presentation sessions as needed. Lead business development activities, working closely with the Business Development Coordinator. Offer coaching to team members for prospective client meetings, presentations, and other client interactions.
Work with international offices to design and implement prospecting and client contact systems. Oversee corporate communications efforts, including external and internal communications, public relations, and vendor and consultant management. Develop and maintain a marketing database with client and prospect information, mailing lists, and financial reports.
Coordinate business development and marketing activities through legal networks and other external relationships. Supervise the team, including Marketing Assistant, Client Services Administrator, Communications Manager, Practice Development Manager, and Regional Marketing Manager(s). Make staffing and hiring decisions within the marketing department.
Recommend and/or execute management policies related to hiring, transfers, suspensions, layoffs, recalls, discharges, reassignments, or discipline of employees. Strong budget management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. At least 7-10 years of experience in marketing, business development, or related roles. Experience in the North Asia market strongly preferred.
