As the largest producer of basic oleochemicals globally, Wilmar is expanding into downstream products, offering a wide range of oleochemical and biofuel products.
Role Description The Sales Supervisor at Wilmar Oleo North America will play a crucial role in assisting the commercial product managers and the commercial director. This position involves a variety of tasks that support planning, market intelligence, logistics, administrative duties, and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient communication and coordination between various departments, maintain up-to-date records, and contribute to the smooth operation of commercial activities.
Responsibilities
Planning Support: Follow up on weekly and monthly planning. Highlight time and cost-sensitive action items to ensure adherence to schedules. Market Intelligence: Prepare databases and presentations. Seek reliable information regarding the products provided by Wilmar Oleo. Logistics Coordination: Liaise with the operations team to communicate obstacles and ensure timely execution of planning.
Administrative Assistance: Assist managers in confirming trades and ensuring compliance with limits. Update onboarding procedures and the authorization matrix. Handle client accounts assigned to you. PNL Review: Assist managers in reviewing Profit and Loss statements. Ensure the correct allocation of financial information.
Financial Forecasting: Provide input for financial forecasting to the finance team. Internal Communication: Facilitate communication between operations and finance departments. Address any other commercial operation-related matters as assigned.
Qualifications
Analytical Skills, Team Management, and Communication Customer Service Skills Training Abilities Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience in the agribusiness or chemical industry is a plus Experience in commercial operations, market analysis, or logistics preferred.
Preferred experience using SAP system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 3-5 years of experience Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
