ZainCash was founded on the premise that basic payment services must be accessible, helpful, and easy, and so it was licensed in 2016 under the Central Bank of Iraq to offer electronic financial services. Through its innovative mobile wallet and expanding digital ecosystem, ZainCash enables individuals, businesses, government entities, and non-profit organizations to send, receive, and manage money securely and efficiently. Since its launch, ZainCash has facilitated billions of dinars in transactions, driving financial inclusion and supporting the growth of Iraq’s digital economy. ZainCash is building a unique ecosystem of products and services that led to awarding it the “Telecom Lead Innovation” in 2019 and nominated for “The Best Mobile Innovation supporting Emergency” by the GSMA in 2020/21. ZainCash was ranked as a top Fintech company by Forbes Magazine in 2023 & 2024 & 2025.
