Job description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES : Develop, implement, manage, and administer the city’s geographic information system (GIS). Acts as a city liaison for all GIS communications with Genesee County’s GIS department, private vendors, governmental agencies, and other organizations. Produces customized GIS and cartographic products, converts and analyzes data and ensures consistent integration of GIS technology throughout the city.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED : Works under the supervision of the IT Director. SUPERVISION EXERCISED : Supervises the GIS Technician.
