Position Summary

Our Dermatology department has openings for full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe’s in various locations including Lehi, Provo and Salem. • Escorts patients to examination rooms, interviews patient and ensures all pertinent information is recorded and available for the provider.
• Ensures exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments following clinic policy and procedures.
• Relays results and other messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Creates and maintains tasks and documents all patient interactions.
• Call/Fax/eScribe prescriptions per protocol.
• Assist provider with in-office procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MA or MA certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology is very beneficial.
• Must have outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
• Must also be a self-starter, team player, dependable, friendly and professional.
• Be able to multi-task and work efficiently.
• CPR certification required upon hire Hours: Monday
• Friday (7:30 am - 5:00 pm) Varies by location
