Pharmacy Purchasing Technician

Position Summary

The successful candidate will possess attention to detail required to observe differences in names of closely related pharmaceuticals . The Purchasing Technician m ust be able to balance high volume workload with deadlines without sacrificing accuracy and demonstrate ability to accomplish additional d uties with minimal supervision .

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include daily shelving of the pharmaceutical order, rotating stock in automated dispensing cabinets to minimize expiring pharm aceuticals and gathering stock to be directed to other hospitals . Other responsibilities include monthly review of pharmacy stock for out of date pharmaceuticals .

Qualifications
