For one of our major energy sector clients**, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer** to join their GenAI Incubator team**. In 2026, the focus shifts from small-scale experiments to delivering high-value, scalable production solutions . You will design robust services that simplify business processes and enhance customer experiences through Generative AI .
What you’ll do
- Build production-grade services ** using .NET on Azure ** with clean, maintainable code .
- Own features end-to-end ** , from initial discovery and design to deployment and monitoring .
- Implement event-driven architectures ** using Kafka ** , Service Bus, or Event Grid .
- Drive technical decisions ** regarding system performance, reliability, security, and cost .
- Collaborate closely ** with frontend specialists and DevOps to achieve common goals .
- Debug and improve reliability ** by owning features throughout their entire lifecycle .
What we’re looking for
- 5 to 10 years of experience ** as a backend developer with deep expertise in .NET Core and C# ** .
- Azure Mastery ** : Hands-on with Functions, Key Vaults, App Insights, Container Apps, and Service Bus ** .
- Event-Driven Knowledge ** : Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka ** or similar platforms .
- Cloud-Native Skills ** : Essential experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker/Kubernetes ** .
- Proactive Communicator ** : Ability to deliver integrated solutions across technical and non-technical teams .
- Fluent English + NL residency** (no sponsorship).
Tooling:** .NET Core, C#, Azure, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC.
