Responsibilities
This person will direct the negotiation and procure m ent of all property/casualty insurance coverage. To coordinate and m onitor all processes related to property/casualty clai m s activity, including pay m ent of insurance clai m s and pre m iu m s. Prepare accounting allocations for insurance pre m iu m s and clai m s costs , and reconcile insurance-related GL accounts.
All duties should be perfor m ed in accordance with co m pany policy. What You’ll Do Coordinate with and provide infor m ation to M FA’s insurance broker to assist with the policy renewal process for all corporate property and casualty insurance policies Evaluate proposals provided by broker fro m different insurance carriers to deter m ine appropriate pre m iu m s, deductibles, and insurance coverages for renewals Provide reports and advice to upper m anage m ent on all insurance m atters, including financial, legal and accounting ra m ifications related to policy renewals and clai m s settle m ents Work with insurance clai m s processors, M FA broker, and M FA personnel to resolve all property and casualty clai m s in a ti m ely m anner Coordinate with and provide infor m ation to insurance adjusters on clai m s processed by insurance co m panies Work with agrono m y depart m ent and store m anagers to help resolve liability disputes with M FA far m ers/custo m ers in a ti m ely m anner Coordinate with accounts payable depart m ent for the ti m ely pay m ent of all insurance pre m iu m s and clai m s Benefits M edical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Prescription Insurance 401k with Co m pany M atch Retire m ent Plan PTO on Day 1 9 Paid Holidays E m ployee Referral Progra m E m ployee Assistance Progra m s (EAP) Educational Assistance Qualifications B.
