Job Description: Job Title: Senior Storage Architect, VP Location: Bangalore, India Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and technically accomplished VP Senior Storage Architect to lead the architecture, design, governance, and evolution of enterprise storage platforms across a global, mission-critical environment.

The successful candidate will serve as the architectural authority for storage, data management, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and cloud storage services. This role requires deep expertise across SAN, NAS, Object Storage, Mainframe Storage, Cloud Storage, Backup, and Data Protection technologies, combined with strong leadership, product ownership, vendor management, and executive stakeholder engagement capabilities.

The VP Senior Storage Architect will define enterprise storage strategy, establish technology standards, drive modernization initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical leadership for large-scale transformation programs. This role is particularly suited for candidates with experience supporting complex financial services, regulated industries, or other highly available environments where resilience, security, and compliance are paramount.

and above Your key responsibilities Enterprise Storage Strategy & Architecture Define and own the long-term enterprise storage architecture strategy and roadmap. Develop strategic technology standards covering: Block Storage File Storage Object Storage Backup & Recovery Cyber Recovery Create target-state architectures aligned to business, regulatory, and technology objectives.

Drive modernization initiatives including: Storage consolidation Cloud adoption Automation AI-enabled operations Platform simplification Lead architecture reviews and provide governance across infrastructure programs. Architecture Leadership Act as the highest-level technical authority for enterprise storage services.

Review and approve solution architectures for major business initiatives. Establish design principles, reference architectures, and engineering standards. Provide technical leadership across global engineering, operations, security, and application teams. Conduct architecture assessments and provide recommendations for optimization and modernization.

Storage & Data Platform Ownership Provide strategic ownership for: Enterprise SAN Platforms Dell Power. Max Pure Storage Flash. Array HPE Storage NAS and File Services Net. App ONTAP Net. App CVO Object Storage Platforms Net. App StorageGRID Dell ECS Google Cloud Storage SAN Fabrics Cisco MDS Brocade Fibre Channel Cyber Resilience & Operational Resilience Lead architecture for cyber recovery and cyber resilience services.

Define enterprise recovery strategies aligning to: DORA Operational Resilience Regulatory compliance frameworks Architect solutions involving: Immutable storage Cyber vaults Ransomware recovery Collaborate with security teams on cyber recovery exercises and resilience testing. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Define storage replication standards.

Design enterprise recovery architectures supporting: High availability Cross-region recovery Active-active architectures Regional failover Establish RPO/RTO standards for critical applications. Ensure alignment between storage architecture and enterprise continuity strategies. Product Ownership & Service Governance Act as Product Owner for enterprise storage services.

Manage service strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and investment planning. Define KPIs and service maturity metrics. Lead product governance forums and technical steering committees. Ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Vendor & Commercial Management Manage relationships with strategic vendors including: Dell Technologies Net.

App Pure Storage IBM Cisco Broadcom HPE Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps. Lead RFPs, technology evaluations, and strategic sourcing initiatives. Support commercial negotiations and technology investment decisions. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Provide technical leadership across global teams. Mentor senior architects and engineering teams.

Translate technical strategy into business outcomes and executive-level communications. Your skills and experience Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline. Experience- Mandatory 15+ years of infrastructure experience. 10+ years focused on enterprise storage technologies.

5+ years operating as Senior Architect, Lead Architect, Product Owner, or equivalent leadership role. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments with global operations. Experience within banking, financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries. Technical Skills
