Line Cook – Market Café Location: Queens, NY Pay: $18 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time Requirements: Line Cook Experience Required, Serv. Safe Preferred Join Our Newly Opened Market Café Nu3s recently opened its Market Café, and we're growing our kitchen team. We're hiring a skilled Line Cook to help us make great food, keep service running smoothly, and build a strong kitchen as we grow.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving new business. You'll cook and prep meals, work across every station, and help shape a kitchen that keeps guests coming back.

What You'll Do

Prepare and cook meals to order following company recipes and plating standards Work the line during service, keeping tickets moving quickly and accurately Handle food prep, including chopping, portioning, and stocking stations before service Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and stock rotation Dishwashing, cleanup, and handle opening and closing duties as needed Monitor food quality and resolve issues before dishes reach guests Cross-train across prep, line, dish, and inventory stations as needed Share feedback and ideas to help improve the menu and kitchen operations Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, efficient service What We're Looking For Proven experience as a line cook or in a busy kitchen preferably in a Cafe or QSR.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices Ability to follow recipes, work quickly, and multitask under pressure Serv. Safe or NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred Team player with strong communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to grow with a new business Flexible availability, including early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [50] lbs Why Join Nu3s?
