JOB PURPOSE The Team Lead / SRM, LCO is responsible for originating, obtaining approvals and managing offshore corporate banking relationships booked through LCO, with a focus on foreign currency lending, cross‑border financing and structured transactions, while maintaining credit quality, compliance and profitability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Task Force Participate in the LCO Task Force to support execution readiness, FCY booking governance and inter‑BU coordination. Attend credit committee and approval meetings physically in Labuan, where required, to support LCO‑booked transactions and meet Labuan substance requirements, including attendance in the absence of the Head of LCO.

Coordinate execution‑related matters arising from credit approvals and escalate issues to the Head of LCO as appropriate. B. Business Origination & Client Coverage Originate and manage offshore corporate and institutional clients in line with LCO’s target market and risk appetite. Structure and execute FCY loans, bilateral and syndicated facilities, and structured finance transactions.

Act as the primary relationship liaison for assigned LCO clients. C. Inter ‑ BU Deal Coordination Work closely with relevant Business Units under the Group Corporate Banking Division on foreign currency loan transactions proposed to be booked under LCO. Coordinate deal structuring, credit submissions, documentation and execution across originating BUs and LCO.

Support the Head of LCO in ensuring seamless inter‑BU coordination for offshore‑booked transactions. D. Credit & Risk Management Prepare high‑quality credit proposals, annual reviews and transaction papers in accordance with Group standards. Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance and early warning indicators.

Engage Risk, Credit and Compliance teams to ensure sound risk outcomes. E. Revenue & Portfolio Management Drive revenue through lending margins, fees, syndication income and cross‑selling opportunities (e.g., treasury and hedging). Ensure pricing reflects risk, capital and return considerations. Manage/monitor portfolio exposure, utilisation and concentration efficiently.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Structured Finance, Syndication, or Commercial Banking. Proven experience in managing corporate/institutional clients and originating FCY loans, syndicated facilities, and cross-border financing transactions.

Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial assessment, credit proposal writing, and portfolio management. Familiarity with corporate banking products, structured finance, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Strong business development, client relationship management, negotiation, and deal structuring skills.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently, manage multiple transactions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. High integrity with strong understanding of compliance, governance, and risk controls. Willing to travel to Labuan and attend credit committee or approval meetings when required.

Must be Labuan Locals.
