(see attached). Registered Nurses use the nursing process to effectively plan and manage quality patient care. Biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs are addressed in all steps of the nursing process. This is demonstrated in base-line and comparative documentation, entered in a timely manner, and with evidence of age-appropriate consideration when care is planned, delivered, and evaluated.

The work environments in the Procedure Suites department at Moffitt Cancer Center are designed to provide nurses with the training and ability to perform skilled, critical actions to meet the unique needs of each patient. Moffitt empowers its nurses to develop the expertise and special skills required for providing the best patient care possible.

Registered Nurses in the Procedure Suites care for patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and post recovery phases of care for Bone Marrow Biopsies and Interventional Pain Procedures. Moffitt’s Procedures Suites cares for 20-30 patients on a daily basis. We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team.

Position Highlights:

• The ideal candidate will have at keast one of the following qualifications as a Registered Nurse:
• Experience in Critical Care
• Procedural Experience
• PACU experience Responsibilities:
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations Credentials and Qualifications:
• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with one year of relevant experience
• FL RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (Preferred) Salary Range $35.05 - $52.56 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
