Position Type: Part Time Location: Philippines (Remote) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 1 PM or 12:30 – 5 PM Melbourne Time ABOUT THE ROLE As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities
will include reconciling bank transactions, allocating payments, and assisting with invoice distribution and follow-ups. You’ll also support the team with administrative tasks and provide phone coverage during lunch hours. This role is essential in ensuring timely collections and delivering excellent internal and external service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Allocate remittance payments efficiently and accurately.
- Provide phone coverage during lunch hours.
- Assist with mailing invoices, statements, and sending follow-up reminders as needed.
- Handle accounts receivable administrative tasks, including processing credit card tokenization.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the team. COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Must-Have - 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or any similar role.
- Proven experience in customer service, particularly in chat or email support, with the ability to address customer inquiries effectively.
- Organized and capable of managing a high volume of tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members. Nice-to-Have
- Strong communication skills and a high level of reliability.
- Experience using Xero accounting software or similar tools is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
