Preventive Maintenance Technician

Now Hiring Preventative Maintenance Technician's on 2nd and 3rd Shift!!! Summary: The primary function of a Preventative Maintenance Technician is to complete preventative maintenance on all production equipment, following applicable preventative maintenance task lists.

Essential Functions

Capable of dismantling equipment as necessary for completion of preventative maintenance tasks and reassembling same without supervision. Able to develop the skills needed to read mechanical schematics and blueprints; follow directions from manuals. Able to interpret PM work orders and complete them in a timely manner.

Willing to make suggestions on improvements or additions to PM task lists. Perform preventative maintenance tasks and look for defects or potential issues and correct them as needed. Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times. Comply with all GMP requirements. Adhere/comply with all Company policies, procedures and practices.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Works well with others, fostering a team atmosphere. Basic experience with hand tools. Able to develop proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and manual repair equipment. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. Ability to read and record written instructions. Ability to work independently. Must be willing and able to maintain open, effective communication with team members as well as departmental and plant leadership.

Education

High School or equivalent. Successful completion of a formal technical training program or experience in an industrial maintenance role a plus.
