Network Engineer (Juniper) Home-based with Regular Travel to Customer Sites Across the South We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team, supporting the delivery of major network transformation and infrastructure deployment projects across customer environments. Based from home with regular travel to client sites, you'll play a key role in implementing, upgrading, and deploying enterprise networking solutions while working closely with customers and project teams.
This is a hands-on role focused on Juniper network deployments, wireless technologies, and campus network environments. You'll be involved throughout implementation, testing, and project delivery, helping customers modernise and transform their network infrastructure. What You'll Be Doing Deploying and implementing Juniper network infrastructure across customer sites.
Installing and configuring LAN switching infrastructure and wireless access points. Supporting network transformation and migration projects. Performing switch replacements, hardware refreshes, and commissioning activities. Completing copper and fibre patching activities. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during implementation.
Working closely with project teams to transition solutions into operational support. Maintaining documentation, work notes, and technical records. Liaising with customers, third parties, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery. Identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities during deployments.
What We're Looking For
Essential Strong hands-on experience implementing Juniper networking solutions. Experience delivering network transformation projects, including LAN and wireless deployments using Juniper Mist. Experience working within campus network environments. Experience configuring HPE Aruba ClearPass. Proven background in network implementation, deployment, and project delivery.
Knowledge of technical change control processes. Strong customer-facing communication skills. Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to travel regularly to customer sites across the South when required. Desirable Juniper certifications (JNCIS, specialist-level Juniper accreditations). Aruba certifications including ACCP or ACP-NS.
Experience with firewall technologies. Experience with Infoblox DDI. Understanding of DNS and DHCP protocols. Current or previous Secuity Clearance About You You'll be a practical, delivery-focused engineer who enjoys working directly with customers and delivering successful outcomes. You'll be comfortable working independently on-site, as well as collaborating with wider project and service teams.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have delivered enterprise-scale Juniper deployments and can confidently communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
