Position Information The Custodian, under supervision, provides daily, general cleaning services to the Weslaco Agri. Life Center.
Responsibilities
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors. Dust furniture and counters, clean windows Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms and shared spaces. Restock necessary supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.) Assist with setup of tables and chairs for meetings or events. Trash removal from offices, kitchens, restrooms and public/common areas daily Replenishes supplies, cleans/polishes metal hardware, shampoos carpet, moves furniture, and mixes cleaning chemicals.
Repairs minor damages on equipment and structures. Reports major damage on equipment. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. What You Need to Know Salary: Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
