McFarland Clinic has an opening for an energetic a Visual Field Technician/Ophthalmic Assistant for its Ames Eye Care Center.  The candidate is expected to be a team player, willing to learn basic ophthalmic techniques as well as the working of advanced ophthalmic equipment. 

Responsibilities include

Educates patients and performs ancillary testing: Visual field, topo, and OCT. Prepare patients for exam or treatments, takes visual acuity and performs basic screening tests. Takes brief history and other medical information needed.
