Summary and Overview Senior Operations Administrator Jersey 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Full Time Competitive Salary & Benefits We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Operations Administator to join our Jersey office on a 6-month fixed term contrac t. This is a key role at the heart of the business, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of office operations, facilities, and administrative support.
Acting as a central point of contact for colleagues and external stakeholders, you will play an important role in maintaining a professional, efficient, and well-coordinated office environment while supporting senior management and contributing to operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
This role offers a broad and varied remit across office operations, facilities and team support: Oversee the day-to-day running of office operations , ensuring a high standard of administrative and operational support Manage facilities and office services , including liaising with landlords and external service providers Coordinate filing, post, archiving and records management , ensuring accuracy and compliance Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and board materials , including budget-related information Act as a key point of contact for employees, visitors and clients , delivering a professional and welcoming experience Assist with onboarding new employees , ensuring smooth integration and adherence to company processes Ensure health & safety and compliance standards are adhered to, including fire evacuation procedures Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies Support operational and business projects , working closely with senior leadership Act as a key holder for the office About You You will be an experienced and capable operations or office professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in an operations, office management, or administrative role within a professional services environment Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a high level of accountability Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business systems Desirable Experience in a fiduciary, financial services, or multi-jurisdictional environment Knowledge of facilities management or health & safety practices Personal Attributes Professional, approachable, and confident Highly organised with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving Collaborative and team-focused Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity Resilient and calm under pressure
