As part of the Ho. St Group, we work with over 600 colleagues worldwide, 300 of whom are based at our head office in Enschede. The role As a Senior Product Developer at Bright Renewables, you will be part of a multidisciplinary business unit comprising more than 80 professionals. Based at our office in Enschede, you will work in a small team of four within Product Management and report to the Product Management Manager.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the further development and standardisation of our sustainable technologies. You will draw up product development plans, monitor the associated budgets and act as the first point of contact for product standards in relation to Engineering, Sales, Site Support and our suppliers.

In doing so, you will work closely with colleagues from Project Management, Engineering, Software and Sales.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Product Developer, you will have overall responsibility for the further development of our Carbon Capture technology. You will help shape the product strategy, translate market developments into technical innovations and steer the product development roadmap. In doing so, you will have a significant say in investment decisions, standardisation issues and technological decision-making.

Your responsibilities

Drawing up the annual product development plan and monitoring the associated budget; Taking ownership of the technical standards and long-term development of our Carbon Capture technology; Initiating and implementing product improvements, new functionalities and technical standards that contribute to the further professionalisation and scalability of our Carbon Capture technology; Carrying out technical analyses and identifying opportunities for improvement to continuously optimise the performance, reliability, cost-efficiency and standardisation of our systems; Managing product development and maintenance activities, monitoring progress, setting priorities and ensuring timely decision-making and delivery; ·Acting as a technical sparring partner for Sales on commercial and strategic customer issues.

Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with international suppliers and technology partners. What are we looking for? A completed technical degree at Master’s level (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar); At least 5 to 8 years’ practical experience in a technical product development environment, or a background in engineering; Experience of independently managing complex development projects and making technical decisions at product level; Experience of stakeholder management within multidisciplinary and international organisations is an advantage.

A proactive and committed approach to work, with a pragmatic mindset; A results-oriented approach and the drive to achieve success together with the team; A good command of both Dutch and English.
