Education

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from a CAATE program. Masters Degree preferred. Licensure: American Heart Association BLS CPR & AED for Healthcare provider required. Georgia State Licensed for Athletic Training. Nationally Certified by the NATA Board of Certification. Must have a valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage in accordance with Hamilton Health Care System Driver Requirements policy.

Experience: One (1) year experience in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of sports related injuries and advanced application of therapy intervention. Skills: AHA BLS CPR Healthcare Provider technique. Ability to render prevention, injury recognition, modalities treatment, and rehabilitation that progresses the recovery of injury at an accelerated rate
