MLS - PRN - LAB - Hospital - Okmulgee

The purpose of the position is to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing moderately complex and highly complex procedures in a specific area of the laboratory under the direction of the laboratory manager or lab director when necessary. Provides data in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The Hospital MLS may perform phlebotomy, processing, and send outs, as well as train less experienced staff. The Hospital MLS will be assigned as primary operator of an analyzer or section, including ensuring all duties related to their assigned analyzer or section is reviewed, up to date with changes in package inserts, any errors are remediated as quickly as possible, accurate and precise results are released, and documentation is complete and available.
