Job Description About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to guide our development team in building scalable, AI-powered Ed. Tech solutions. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, lead our adoption of agentic AI capabilities, and ensure delivery of high-quality applications using Node.js, React / Next.js, MySQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor frontend & backend developers Design and deliver scalable full-stack solutions Define and drive the technical strategy for integrating agentic AI features (e.g., AI tutoring assistants, content generation, adaptive learning workflows) into the product Architect and build agentic AI systems , including LLM orchestration, tool-calling, and RAG pipelines , either directly or through close oversight of the team building them Own cloud architecture decisions on GCP, including service selection, scalability, and cost optimization Guide data architecture decisions, including pipeline design and analytics/reporting needs, in collaboration with data stakeholders Oversee coding standards, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features Troubleshoot issues and drive technical improvements across the stack Required Skills 7+ years in software development, 3+ years as a Tech Lead Strong JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.
js, React / Next.js Expertise in MySQL (schema design, optimization) Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems , LLM orchestration, tool/function-calling, RAG pipelines, or agent frameworks (e.g., Lang. Graph, Auto. Gen, or equivalent) , and the ability to translate this into a product-level AI feature roadmap Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Good to Have Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes Background in building Ed.
