Overview

This position provides direct patient care and clinical support to physicians and advanced practice providers while ensuring an efficient, patient-centered clinic experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliation. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist providers during clinic visits and minor procedures. Document patient information accurately in the EMR. Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations. Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, prescriptions, and provider instructions.

Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies while following infection prevention and safety standards. Respond professionally to patient questions and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

Current CMA certification, LPN license, Paramedic or Surgical Tech. Previous outpatient or specialty clinic experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with EMR; experience with Epic preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team -oriented environment.
