Job Posting: JR102024 Senior Lecturer, Biology (Open) Department: Biological Sciences Department, PM Position Type: Regular Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Open Date: 07-21-2026 Close Date: $62,000 - $65,000 Job Description: Job Summary The successful applicant will be expected to teach introductory biology and nutrition courses and advanced courses in evolution, ecology, and science communication, and contribute to the General Biology curriculum.

Engage in professional development activities. Provide service to the Department, School, University, and community. Authority and Accountability This faculty member reports to the chair of biological sciences, Dr. Elizabeth Emmert. This faculty member does not have budgetary responsibility or authority over other SU employees.

Required/Minimum Qualifications PhD in Ecology, Evolution, or Organismal Biology Five or more years of full-time teaching at the undergraduate level Experience leading pre-health advisory programs Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching undergraduate evolution courses Experience teaching undergraduate nutrition courses Experience researching evolution of traits in birds To be considered an applicant, you must apply online and submit the following:
