Job description
The Unit Load Device (ULD) Repair Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of ULDs used for cargo transportation at the airport. This role involves routine inspections to identify damage or wear on ULDs, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring that ULDs comply with aviation regulations and safety standards.
You will use specialized tools and equipment to repair ULDs, including welding, riveting, and replacement of components. Additionally, this position requires documenting repair activities, conducting load tests on ULDs, and coordinating with cargo handlers to ensure the availability of serviceable ULDs for cargo loading.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of cargo transportation at the airport.
