Job description

  1. Develop Board Support Package (BSP), BIOS/UEFI, BMC firmware, Embedded Linux, and platform firmware for AI Computing Platforms.
  2. Develop Linux Kernel, Bootloader, Device Drivers, Remote & Multi-node Management, Middleware Frameworks, and platform management software.
  3. Perform platform bring-up, BSP porting, BIOS/BMC integration, hardware enablement, and board-level debugging on x86 and ARM-based AI computing platforms.
  4. Develop and optimize platform firmware for AI Compute Platforms (CPU / GPU / NPU / DSP), enabling high performance, power efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  5. Develop platform initialization, boot flow, reset flow, power sequencing, firmware configuration, and hardware discovery.
  6. Develop BIOS/UEFI firmware, BMC firmware, platform drivers, and system management features for server and Edge AI platforms.
  7. Design and implement platform management functions, including health monitoring, hardware monitoring, thermal management, power management, remote management, firmware update, Secure Boot, system recovery, and watchdog.
  8. Perform hardware/software integration, firmware debugging, validation, root cause analysis, failure analysis, and reliability improvement.
  9. Collaborate with hardware, EE, system architecture, AI software, and manufacturing teams to develop next-generation AI Computing Platforms.

要求 / Requirements:

  1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, Control Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Familiar with x86 or ARM architecture, embedded systems, and platform firmware development.
  3. Familiar with Linux, Embedded Linux, BSP, Kernel, Bootloader, Device Driver, Middleware, and Device Management.
  4. Familiar with platform bring-up, board bring-up, BIOS/BMC integration, hardware enablement, system integration, and firmware debugging.
  5. Familiar with platform firmware architecture, boot sequence, power sequencing, reset flow, interrupt, memory initialization, and peripheral initialization.
  6. Good understanding of firmware-hardware co-design and platform architecture.
  7. Programming skills in C/C++ and Linux Shell Script; Python is a plus.
  8. TOEIC 550+

Nice to Have

  1. Experience with BIOS, UEFI, EDK II, Insyde, AMI Aptio, coreboot, or OpenBMC.
  2. Experience with BMC firmware development (OpenBMC / AMI MegaRAC / ASPEED AST2600 / AST2700).
  3. Experience with Platform Firmware, Embedded Controller (EC), CPLD, or FPGA integration.
  4. 2+ years of experience in embedded software, BSP, BIOS, BMC, or platform firmware development.
  5. Experience with platform management technologies such as Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and D-Bus.
  6. Experience with Secure Boot, TPM, firmware signing, measured boot, firmware security, and OTA firmware update.
  7. Experience with PCIe, DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR, USB, Ethernet, MIPI, PMBus, SMBus, I²C, SPI, UART, GPIO, eSPI, and other high-speed interfaces.
  8. Experience with AI Server, GPU Server, Edge AI Computer, Robotics, UAV, or Industrial Computing Platforms.
  9. Familiar with NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, NXP, Rockchip, MediaTek, or other AI SoC platforms.
