AVP - Senior Product & Platform Engineer - IT

Location: CN-Shenzhen-HyQ Shift: Standard - 40 Hours (China) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Permanent Job Summary: Job Duties: Job Responsibilities Lead the upgrade and re-engineering of the company’s business process management platform, independently handling requirements gathering, process optimization, UI/UX prototyping, and full-stack development to ensure smooth platform evolution and continuous improvement.

Develop a deep understanding of business operations, proactively collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders, and translate fragmented business needs into practical product solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Design and maintain platform integrations, access control mechanisms, and cross-module collaboration to ensure seamless business workflows and robust system logic.

Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of multiple internal support applications, including service monitoring, regular backups, troubleshooting, and incident response, ensuring high system availability and reliability. Respond promptly to user inquiries, application issues, and data correction requests; establish standardized operational procedures and automation scripts to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Continuously optimize legacy applications and drive smooth technology transitions while ensuring business continuity and reducing technical debt. Participate in the design and development of next-generation intelligent applications, exploring the practical adoption of emerging technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agents in real business scenarios.

Design and develop core intelligent application capabilities, including conversational AI, enterprise knowledge retrieval, and workflow automation, delivering solutions from proof-of-concept through production deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on model selection, performance evaluation, and continuous optimization; apply a product-oriented mindset to improve the usability and effectiveness of AI-powered features and drive successful adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of software development experience. Proficient in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, or Go) and experienced with ReactJS for frontend development. Strong full-stack development capability is required.

Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, product design, development, testing, and delivery, with the ability to transform ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions. Familiar with Linux administration, Shell scripting, production issue troubleshooting, and basic system operations and maintenance practices.

Hands-on experience in AI or machine learning projects, with knowledge of Large Language Models (e.g., GPT series and open-source LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and practical experience in RAG, AI Agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or related AI application development. Self-motivated with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working directly with business users while also handling operational and maintenance responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the development, modernization, or re-engineering of OA (Office Automation), BPMN, workflow, or approval management systems. Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure toolchains, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Nginx, and related technologies.
