Preschool / Pre-K Lead Teacher Active Learning Centers is an award-winning, family-owned childcare organization looking for an educated, dedicated, and passionate early-learning professional to join our Preschool / Pre-K team. We believe the early years are some of the most important years in a child’s development. Our teachers do much more than supervise children—they teach, inspire, encourage, guide, and help children become confident, capable learners .

We are looking for an educator who understands early childhood development and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for children ages 3–5. We love what we do, and we love having fun while doing it! Full-Time Lead Teacher Positions Available Competitive Teacher Pay: $18–$22/hour , based on education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field required, with 3 years of experience preferred. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and successfully complete required background clearances.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate educational program for children ages 3–5 Create and follow thoughtful lesson plans and structured daily schedules Design hands-on learning experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development Use a variety of teaching strategies, including storytelling, educational play, exploration, movement, music, and creative experiences Provide opportunities for children to build independence, problem-solving skills, confidence, and positive relationships Observe children and use those observations to support individual growth and development Teach and reinforce positive behavior, responsibility, respect, and safe choices Encourage children to interact, collaborate, communicate, and work as a team Support children's artistic, creative, and practical abilities through meaningful, hands-on experiences Provide daily outdoor play and gross-motor opportunities Maintain an active, engaging, and well-organized classroom environment Communicate consistently and professionally with parents and families Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to provide a consistent experience for children Maintain a clean, organized classroom consistent with health and safety expectations Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development Do You Have?

We are looking for an educator who has: A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development An Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Education or a related field (required) Experience working with preschool or Pre-K children A strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice Excellent communication and instructional skills The ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences A calm, positive, and nurturing approach to guiding children's behavior Reliability, maturity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A balance of creativity, organization, initiative, and practical problem-solving A desire to continually learn, grow, and become a better educator If you are an educated early-learning professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children, we want to meet you!
