The Avenue Sports. Care is a dedicated rapid-access orthopaedic sports injury service at The Avenue Hospital, Windsor – part of Ramsay Health Care.

We fast-track sports injury patients from GP referral through to specialist assessment, imaging and surgical treatment.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sports. Care Fellow or Senior Registrar to join our clinical team as the primary clinician responsible for working up every patient before they are handed to our specialist VMO orthopaedic surgeons for treatment. As the Sports. Care Fellow/Registrar, you will: Conduct full orthopaedic history, examination and clinical workup for every referral Order and interpret investigations – X-ray, MRI, ultrasound– and formulate a diagnosis Prepare a complete, surgery-ready patient summary for the VMO Present patients to the treating VMO with differential diagnosis and recommended management Assist in theatre for relevant surgical cases – building your operative experience Manage post-operative reviews and follow-up consultations Liaise with GPs, allied health and sports clubs as part of the Sports.
