Location: Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 1ES Hours: 9 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: 4:15pm – 5:45pm Saturday: 1:30pm – 3:00pm Sunday: No work Pay Rate: £14.26 per hour Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Crawley.

Key Responsibilities

General office and banking environment cleaning Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing Cleaning washrooms and staff welfare facilities Emptying waste and recycling bins Sanitising high-touch surfaces Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Adhering to all health & safety and site security procedures Opening, securing and locking premises where required Working independently in a secure environment Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Ability to work confidently as a lone worker Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating alarm systems Excellent attention to detail and reliability Professional appearance and conduct Ability to use a telephone-based time and attendance system Good communication skills Barclays Pre-Employment Compliance Requirements Due to the nature of this role within a banking environment, successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks prior to commencing employment: Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Right to Work verification Adverse financial screening checks GOV.
