Due to expansion, they are seeking a suitable and motivated Safety and Compliance Officer to join their team.

The Position… In this position, you will be working alongside the production team in assisting with the preparation and evaluating the safety requirements for each project. Part of this involves high-risk areas of activity and operational aspects that revolve around industry specified compliance. Further responsibilities include; Development of safety systems and ensuring compliance amongst staff SWMS checks and toolbox talks Onsite training Team accountability Liaising with Workplace Health & Safety when required Assisting programming of large commercial jobs Onboarding of new staff The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven capability in safety and compliance across the Roofing or Construction Industry.

The successful candidate will also have: Excellent communication and time management skills Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft office package A certificate IV in Work Health & Safety minimum Management experience preferred White card Ability to walk across roofs Working at heights (if not, willing to get one) The Benefits: The company is offering a generous salary of between $70,000-$90,000 plus superannuation (dependent upon experience) plus a company vehicle and phone.
