Cleaning Operative – Hamilton (ML3 6AD)

Location: Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, ML3 6AD Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 12 hours per week Contract Type: Holiday Cover with the potential to become Temp to Perm Start Date: To be confirmed We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team at a commercial site in Hamilton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time evening and weekend work with a competitive hourly rate. Working Hours Monday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours) Tuesday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours) Wednesday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours) Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours) Friday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours) Saturday: 2:00pm – 4:00pm (2 hours) Sunday: No work Total: 12 hours per week Key Responsibilities General cleaning of commercial premises Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors Cleaning offices, kitchens, washrooms and communal areas Emptying bins and replenishing consumables Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Following all health and safety procedures Locking and securing the premises where required Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Comfortable working independently and as a lone worker Able to work as a key holder and operate an alarm system where required Right to work in the UK (documentation must be presented at induction) Willing to use a telephone-based time and attendance system This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional facilities management team, with the potential for the role to become temp to perm for the right candidate.
